On Friday, May 16, former Lyons Township High School standout Ava Kostecki’s current collegiate team the UW Whitewater Warhawks won 7-6 against the Case Western Reserve Spartans in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Mather Park at 11 a.m. and was the first matchup against the Case Western Reserve Spartans in the tournament.

The UW Whitewater Warhawks’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 11 a.m. at Mather Park.
