La Grange Medicaid medicine services claims reach $266,104 in 2024, a 33.7% rise

Medicaid providers in La Grange submitted claims totaling $266,104 for Medicine Services and Procedures in 2024, data from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Medicaid Provider Spending database show. This represented a 33.7% rise compared to 2023, when $199,067 was billed under the same classification.

Medicaid is a public insurance initiative managed by states and financed jointly by the federal and state governments. The program provides coverage to low-income people and families, senior citizens, children, and those with disabilities, making it a key part of the national health care system.
