On Friday, Feb. 27, former Lyons Township High School basketball standout Tavari Johnson helped the Akron Zips secure a 92-70 win against the Kent State Golden Flashes.
The 6’0″ senior guard registered 22 points, 7 assists and 6 rebounds over 34 minutes on the floor.
Johnson and the Zips next face the Central Michigan Chippewas on the road at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3.
