On Wednesday, March 19, former Nazareth Academy standout John Hughes’ current college team, the North Carolina Tar Heels, lost 5-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UConn Huskies.
The game took place at Cary C. Boshamer Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Huskies this season.
The Tar Heels’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 3 p.m. at Harrington Athletics Village against Boston Eagles.
