Hog Wild, a new restaurant, was welcomed to the Town of Cicero with a ribbon cutting ceremony on April 22. The event took place at 2305 S. Cicero Avenue and was attended by local officials, community members, and supporters.
The opening of Hog Wild is part of ongoing efforts to encourage economic development in the area. The Town of Cicero partners with local businesses and community organizations to promote growth, according to the official website.
Town President Larry Dominick attended the ceremony along with First Lady Diana Dominick, members of the Board of Trustees, and other town officials. Chaplain Ismael Vargas also participated in the event. Representatives from various departments such as Building, Health, and Fire were recognized for their contributions to making the opening possible.
Co-owner Carolina Muñoz cut the ribbon at the center of the celebration. “We’re very excited to be part of this community,” Muñoz said. “We’ve been hoping to come here for a few years, and we’re proud to finally make it happen.”
President Dominick welcomed Hog Wild by saying: “This is what progress looks like in Cicero. When new businesses choose our town, they’re investing in our people, our future, and our community. We’re proud to welcome Hog Wild and wish them many years of success.”
Hog Wild previously opened locations in Oak Lawn four-and-a-half years ago and New Lenox one-and-a-half years ago before expanding into Cicero. The restaurant is known for its one-pound pork chops and ribs.

Muñoz said: “We want people to feel welcome when they walk in and really get to know our food… And you definitely have to try the one-pound pork chops.”
Hog Wild will be open seven days a week from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m.
