Kylie Jones-Plasencia, a former Elmwood Park High School standout, played with the Rockhurst Hawks as they fell 16-3 to the Maryville Saints in their NCAA Division II softball contest Sunday, March 15, at 2 p.m.
The Loyola Park Softball Field hosted the game, marking the second time the teams have met this season. The Hawks claimed a 6-3 victory over Maryville in their earlier game on Sunday, March 15.
Jones-Plasencia gave up five earned runs and issued two walks.
Rockhurst will play its next game Saturday, March 21, at noon against the UIS Prairie Stars at the UIS Softball Complex.
