On Tuesday, April 1, former Nazareth Academy standouts David Cox and Lucas Smith’s current college team, the UIC Flames, lost 2-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Northwestern Wildcats.
The game took place at Les Miller Field at Curtis Granderson Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Wildcats this season.
The Flames’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 1 p.m. at Les Miller Field at Curtis Granderson Stadium against Evansville Purple Aces.
