Jesús “Chuy” García, a U.S. Congressman representing Illinois’ 4th district, has shared several opinions and statements on social media. García, who succeeded Luis Gutiérrez in 2019, has been active in political discourse through his online presence.

On March 5, 2025, Congressman García criticized former President Donald Trump’s administration by stating “Trump talks about merit yet has one of the most unqualified cabinets in history.”

In another post on the same day, he expressed solidarity with fellow Congressman Al Green by stating simply “I stand with @RepAlGreen.”

García also highlighted his bilingual heritage and pride with a brief message: “Golfo de México. Soy Bilingüe con orgullo.” This reflects his cultural roots and personal identity.
