The Village of Brookfield announced on May 6 that college scholarships are available for income-eligible students in suburban Cook County through the Community and Economic Development Association (CEDA).
The scholarship program aims to help local students access higher education by providing financial assistance. The opportunity is designed for those who meet specific income requirements and reside within suburban Cook County.
Applications for the scholarship can be downloaded online. Interested residents are encouraged to review eligibility criteria and submit their applications as soon as possible.
Brookfield’s Village Hall at 8820 Brookfield Avenue functions as the main administrative hub where residents can obtain services, handle permits, utilities, and other civic matters, according to the official website. The village operates as a municipal local government focused on delivering civic administration, public works, safety measures, and community services. Its government oversees residents within Brookfield’s boundaries by offering municipal services and regulations for the community. Departments such as Public Works, Code Enforcement, Finance, and Police coordinate to supply municipal services, enforce property codes, address resident requests, provide utility billing support, code enforcement oversight, permitting and licensing options—including online payments—and public safety through its police department.
Brookfield continues its efforts to support educational advancement among its youth while maintaining a focus on comprehensive municipal service delivery.
