On Tuesday, March 18, five former Oak Park And River Forest High School standouts, including Cole Benson, Cole Shamhart, Jack Flagg, John Philip Ferraro and Patrick Carmody’s current college team, the Illinois Wesleyan Titans, won 21-0 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Principia Panthers.
The game took place at Horenberger Field. This was their first matchup against the Panthers this season.
The Titans’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 12 p.m. at Goodrich Ballpark against Wabash Little Giants.
