City of Northlake Finance & Rules Committee of the Whole met Nov. 21.

Mayor Sherwin called for the roll.

The committee reviewed the minutes of the November 7, 2022 meeting. Alderman Patti made a motion to approve the minutes of the November 7, 2022 meeting; seconded by Alderman Feldmann. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The minutes were approved.

Mayor Sherwin presented the Warrants and Vouchers. Alderman Patti made a motion to pay the Warrants and Vouchers; seconded by Alderman Grochowski. Mayor Sherwin called for the roll. All were in favor. The motion carried.

Mayor Sherwin presented the Commission Expenditures. Alderman Patti made a motion to pay the Commission Expenditures; seconded by Alderman Grochowski. Mayor Sherwin called for the roll. All were in favor. The motion carried.

Mayor Sherwin opened a discussion to approve the purchase of a 2023 Sure Trac 7’ X 18’ Tilt Bed Equipment Trailer for Public Works. Alderman Patti made a motion to approve; seconded by Alderman Grochowski. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The motion carried.

Mayor Sherwin opened a discussion to approve proposal for Automatic License Plate Reader. Alderman Straube made a motion to approve; seconded by Alderman Feldmann. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The motion carried.

Mayor Sherwin opened a discussion to approve the purchase of a new pump for King Arthur Lift Station. Alderman Patti made a motion to approve; seconded by Alderman Grochowski. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The motion carried.

Mayor Sherwin opened a discussion to approve Ordinance O-13-2022; An Ordinance Providing for the Abatement of the 2022 Tax Levy for the General Obligation Tax Increment Refunding Bonds, Series 2015, of the City of Northlake, Cook County, Illinois. Alderman Patti made a motion to approve; seconded by Alderman Feldmann. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The motion carried.

Mayor Sherwin opened a discussion to approve Ordinance O-15-2022; An Ordinance Adopting the Annual Budget for Calendar Year 2023 for the City of Northlake, Cook County, Illinois. Alderman Patti made a motion to approve; seconded by Alderman Grochowski. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The motion carried.

Mayor Sherwin opened a discussion to approve Ordinance O-16-2022; An Ordinance for the Levy and Assessment of 2022 Taxes Paid in the Year Beginning January 1, 2023 and Ending December 31, 2023 for the City of Northlake, Cook County, Illinois. Alderman Patti made a motion to approve; seconded by Alderman Straube. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The motion carried.

There being no further business, Alderman Straube made a motion to adjourn; seconded by Alderman Patti. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The motion carried.
