1. BDC: PROCLAMATION: Congratulating Ofrenda Cantina Y Cocina on receiving the 2026 Best New Addition to Berwyn Award for opening their doors, and enriching the economic and cultural fabric of our city.

2. BDC: PROCLAMATION: Congratulating Michelle Fernandez on receiving the 2026 Charles E. Piper Award for her exceptional contribution of time, talent, and treasures to the betterment of Berwyn.

3. BDC: PROCLAMATION: Congratulating La Parra on receiving the 2026 George W. Ashby Award for exemplifying professionalism, quality, and a deep commitment to the local community.

I. Reports from the Aldermen, Committees, and Boards:

1. Ald. Polashek: Authorize the Aldermanic Licensing and Taxation Committee to do a feasibility study on whether a plastic bag tax would be beneficial to the City of Berwyn.

2. Ald. Polashek: Amend Ordinance 210.09 to clarify Council to request the preferred format in which the Council agendas and packets are transferred to them, paper or electronic. Upon approval, this item will be referred to the City Attorney for drafting.

3. Building and Zoning Committee: Approve the recommended changes to Ordinance 1444.01, which will amend the fee structure of construction permits from 1.1% to 1.5% of the total projected cost. Upon approval, this item will be referred to the City Attorney for drafting.

4. Fire and Police Commission: Lateral Hire Probationary Police Officer: Freddy Vargas. – Informational.

J. Reports from the Staff:

1. Snr. Eng. Campbell: Approve the IDOT Cermak Rd. resolution enabling the City to pay for their portion in the amount of $95,508.00 using MFT funds.

2. Snr. Eng. Campbell: Approval of the 2025 Motor Fuel Tax (MFT) Maintenance Resolution Section No.: 25-00000-00-GM.

3. Snr. Eng. Campbell: Approval of the 2026 Motor Fuel Tax (MFT) Maintenance Resolution Section No.: 26-00000-01-GM.

4. Snr. Eng. Campbell: Approval of Pay Estimate #6 for the 2025 MFT Street Resurfacing program to Lindahl Brothers, Inc. in the amount of $312,790.35. This payment includes a 1% retainage.

5. Snr. Eng. Campbell: Recommendation to approve the supplemental resolution for the 2023 RBI (Rebuild Illinois) funds for the MFT Street Resurfacing program.

6. Snr. Eng. Campbell: Approval of Pay Estimate #3 partial for the 4 M Gallon Ground Tank construction project in the amount of $137,558.47 to Era Valdivia Contractors. This payment includes a 10% retainage. This payment should be processed from ARPA funds.

7. Snr. Eng. Campbell: Approval of Pay Estimate #4 final for the 4 M Gallon Ground Storage Tank construction project in the amount of $86,384.28 to Era Valdivia Contractors. This payment should be processed from ARPA funds.

8. Snr. Eng. Campbell: Approval of Pay Estimate #10 for the Ogden Avenue – Water Main & Sewer Improvements in the amount of $292,771.93 to Trine Construction.

9. City Comp. Daish, Fin. Dir. Martin: Approval to Award the 2025-2027 Fiscal Year Audit Engagements to the Professional Audit Services Firm Recommended by the Finance Department.
