So much of our lives happens behind closed doors, especially the creation of music. How much of the world’s music do you think has actually been seen or heard? Let us surprise you with fascinating music you don’t know yet. Whether these pieces were held back unjustly by self-doubt, societal norms, or lack of resources, we’re opening the doors for unknown works to be seen in the public eye, where we think they belong. Works by: Howells, Byrd, Alessi, Bonds, Garrop, and winners of the HerVoice Emerging Women Composers Competition
