Junior Alexandria Canarelli has been named the NACC Defensive Player of the Week for Oct. 11-17.
The award is the second of the season for Canarelli and the third overall by the Dominican University women’s soccer team. Canarelli was the anchor defensively for the Stars in their two wins over Aurora and Concordia-Wisconsin. Both matchups were on the road and the Stars shut out Aurora and only allowed a single goal against CUW.
The Stars continue their season on Saturday at home against Edgewood at 2:45 p.m.
