The Burlington Avenue Improvement project is nearing its final phase, with a revised schedule due to railroad flagger availability. The completion of the work is subject to weather conditions.

According to the updated timeline, the contractor plans to start early on Monday and Thursday to expedite the process. On Monday, July 7th, structure adjustments will be made by raising manhole frames to the final pavement grade, along with applying a crack-control treatment on the existing bituminous layer.

Tuesday, July 8th, is reserved for completing structure adjustments. On Wednesday, July 9th, workers will focus on cutting in butt joints by squaring off edges at job limits. Prime coat placement and final bituminous surface placement are scheduled for Thursday, July 10th, also requiring an early start.

Friday, July 11th, will be dedicated to cleaning up the job site. Sod installation will occur once extreme heat conditions subside.
