Brookfield Public Works has announced plans for a final leaf collection on the north end of the Village during the week of January 5, weather permitting. The schedule is set to begin with Zones 6, 7, and 8 before moving to Zones 3, 4, and 5.

The department stated that this additional round of collection is dependent on weather conditions. The effort is necessary due to heavy snow in late November that interrupted earlier leaf pickup operations.

Residents in these zones who still have leaves to be collected are asked to move them into the street after January 1.
