The Brookfield Parks and Recreation Foundation will host a fundraising event on March 13 at Joe’s Saloon, aiming to support scholarships for local residents to access the Village Parks and Recreation programs. The event, themed “Rewind to the ’90s,” invites community members and supporters to celebrate the foundation’s achievements over the past year and discuss future plans.
Attendees will receive two complimentary drink tickets, light snacks, chances to win prizes, and an evening of 1990s music. Tickets are available online for $35 in advance or $40 at the door. Those unable to attend are encouraged to consider making a donation.
“The evening will celebrate the impacts of this past year’s work and look ahead to how the foundation will continue to grow. Enjoy complimentary drinks, munchies, chances to win prizes and a night of 90s music, all while supporting a cause impacting the Brookfield community.”
The Brookfield Parks and Recreation Foundation provides financial assistance so more families can participate in activities such as before- and after-school care, summer camp, sports, art, cooking classes, and other programs. Depending on income level, families may qualify for discounts up to 50 percent.
