Brookfield’s annual Fourth of July Parade will see a change in its route this year due to streetscape construction on Grand Boulevard. The parade is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m., starting from Garfield Avenue and moving south on Grand Boulevard. Upon reaching Eight Corners, the procession will turn east onto Washington Avenue, continue to Arden Avenue, and conclude at Brookfield Avenue.

This alteration in the parade’s path leads it directly next to Kiwanis Park, where the Party in the Park event will commence immediately after the parade concludes. Attendees planning to watch along Arden Avenue are encouraged to bring picnic gear for an afternoon filled with activities.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase at Kiwanis Park. Additionally, live music performances are scheduled at the park’s bandshell. Standing Room Only is set to perform from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., followed by country band Wild Daisy from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
