As of March 11, there have been 74,358 Cook County residents in their 50s who have tested positive for COVID-19, according to numbers being reported to the Illinois Department of Public Health.

There have been 1,222,215 residents in their 50s in the county who had been tested, meaning that 6.1 percent of those tested have the coronavirus. Through March 11, there have been 556,224 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 6,864 deaths from the coronavirus in Cook County.
