As of March 10, there have been 74,314 Cook County residents in their 50s who have tested positive for COVID-19, according to numbers being reported to the Illinois Department of Public Health.

There have been 1,220,045 residents in their 50s in the county who had been tested, meaning that 6.1 percent of those tested have the coronavirus. Through March 10, there have been 555,816 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 6,859 deaths from the coronavirus in Cook County.
