City of Northlake Youth Commission met Nov. 9.
Here are the minutes provided by the commission:
ATTENDANCE: Sheila Morgan, John Morgan Veronica Budzon
GUESTS: Francine Patti
Meeting was called to order at 4:30 by Chairman Morgan.
MINUTES OF THE September 14, 2022 meeting and October 12, 2022 meeting was approved by John and seconded by Veronica.
OLD BUSINESS:
Youth Commission is still looking for some new members. Boofest was a huge success. The Commission only spent $338.40 for this event.
NEW BUSINESS:
The committee discussed upcoming events. Winterfest will be held on December 9 at Grant Park. The Youth Commission will be handing out 500 bags of crafts that night. The event will be from 5pm-8pm.
The meeting place and time has been submitted to City Hall.
Next meeting December 14, 2022 at City Hall.
John made a motion to adjourn the meeting; seconded by Veronica.
Meeting adjourned at 4:55.
