Report: Oak Park - River Forest School District spent $22,896 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Oak Park - River Forest School District 200 was up 4.9 percent from five years ago, according to the West Cook News analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $21,819 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $22,896 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 3,309 to 3,393 students over the same period.

Oak Park - River Forest's spending in 2019-20 was 58 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
