Westernsprings

A crowd sourcing campaign seeking funds to retain attorney Thomas DeVore for a lawsuit to overturn the mask mandate at Western Springs School District 101 has met its goal.

The donation-based crowd sourcing campaign led by Westchester realtor Christopher Krone in cooperation with AwakeIllinois is seeking funds to retain DeVore for Western Springs School District 101.

As of press time the campaign had surpassed its goal by raising $5,525. That is slightly more than the $5,324 requested.

The donation’s were provided on Christian crowd-funding site GiveSendGo.

“Late last night the last of the 8 required families courageously decided what was best for not only their kids, but the children of Illinois and joined the 2nd round of lawsuits by Attorney Thomas DeVore to make masks OPTIONAL in Illinois school districts!
We only have a couple of hours left to raise funds to retain Attorney Devore and join in today’s filing! PLEASE HELP BY DONATING AND/OR sharing this link.

So far 187 school have lawsuits pending from round 1 and several have gone to court and ALL HAVE BEEN SUCCESSFUL IN UNMASKING THE CHILDREN!” a press release from the campaign reads.

DeVore is leading the class action lawsuit on behalf of 145 school districts against Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s statewide mask mandate.

In October Devore saw success in court while repressing Red Hill, Woden-Herrick and Beecher City school districts.

Those districts disobeyed the governor’s orders. A judge blocked Pritzker’s attempt to punish the school districts by removing their recognition from the Illinois State Board of Education.

Illinois is only one of a handful of states requiring masks in public places. The others include Hawaii, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon and Washington.

In all 17 states and the District of Columbia currently have some sort of mask mandate in schools.

In nine states schools are disallowed from requiring masks.

“We have strength in numbers and with multiple vaccines and therapeutics the science and data no longer support masking children who have a 99.9% recovery rate.

THIS MIGHT BE THE ONLY CHANCE WE GET TO STAND UP FOR THEM IN COURT- PLEASE BE A PART OF IT!

Parents raise funds to fund mask lawsuit against Western Springs School District 101,” the press release reads.
