Analysis: Franklin Park pays $4.52 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Franklin Park Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 82.4 percent of the $2,274,009 the Franklin Park Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $4.52 for every $1 from pension members, according to a West Cook News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Franklin Park contributed $1,874,375 to the fund, which saw a $99,658 decrease in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $414,531, or 18.2 percent, in 2018.
