City of Northlake Community Events and Affairs Commission met Oct. 8.
Here is the minutes provided by the committee:
The meeting was called to order at 6:31 pm
Present: Anna Johnson, Pat Pionto, Tim Rail, Diane Sampson, Kary Sampson
Absent:
Others Present: Paul Straube
Pat made a motion to approve the minutes from the September 2019 meeting, seconded by Kay. All in favor, the motion carried.
Old Business
Summer Concerts: - We have secured a Jazz, Acoustic, band There are three members, one plays the violin, one plays the guitar, and one plays the drums. I would compare them to Dave Matthews. They will get back to me with the month they would prefer. We are still actively looking for three other bands.
Boo-Fest: - We are all set for Boo-Fest. Candy has been ordered and help has been secured. Hopefully the weather will cooperate.
NEW BUSINESS -
Winter-Fest: - This event will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019. We will have family bingo from 1:00pm – 3:00pm. Diane will purchase gifts for adults and kids.
Tim made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Anna. Meeting adjourned at 6:50 pm.
