Village of Forest Park Department of Public Health & Safety issued the following announcement on Aug. 24.
Garage Galleries Forest Park is a volunteer-driven neighborhood art walk in its 5th year. Residents of Forest Park open their garages to local area artists. Artists display their work in host garages throughout the neighborhood in a casual, family-friendly, "art reception" atmosphere. We encourage you to drive, walk or even ride your bicycles and visit the participating garages. Maybe stop for a bite to eat at one of our many great Forest Park restaurants and taverns. Detailed site maps will be available online soon on our website. Paper maps will also be available at each garage site. You can also start at Creativita at 7512 Madison Street, Forest Park and pick up printed maps and information on the day of the event.
