The Brookfield Beautification Commission (BBC) is holding an Adopt-a-Spot kickoff meeting from 9-11 a.m. March 11 at Village Hall.
The Adopt-A-Spot program provides volunteer opportunities for individuals, families, businesses and organizations to "adopt" a park or public space within the village and pull weeds, remove trash and otherwise beautify the chosen location. Public spaces can be areas such as landscaped traffic islands, historical markers and parks. Youth organizations also can adopt a location.
