The Hillside Board-of-a-Whole will consider a contract bid to automate the village's permit process at its next meeting 7:30 p.m. today at the Municipal Complex, 425 Hillside Ave.
GovPilot of Hoboken, New Jersey, submitted the $15,000 contract bid.
The board also will consider a request to send Hillside Fire and Police Commissioners Len Houseworth and Antoinette Noti to the Illinois Fire and Police Commissioners Association Spring 2016 Seminar, April 29, 30 and May 1, in Springfield, at a total cost of $1,284.The board also will discuss and possibly approve a contract bid to grind, repair and refinish the fire department's apparatus floor.
The board also will consider a proposal to separate nail salons from beauty shops and barber shops in the city code for use permits and other regulatory purposes.
