The Western Springs Transportation and Safety Commission discussed a memo from the village attorney on legal liability for the illegal posting of stop signs during a recent meeting.
Such an act violates the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices.
After this discussion, the commission considered two requests to post stop signs, one at the intersection of Oak and Garden, and the other at the intersection of 46th and Harvey.
