Dominican University senior softball player Haley Locher on Monday was named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Pitcher of the Week for the week ended March 5.
Locher is 2-1 this season, with an ERA of 3.00, including a complete-game win against Kenyon College on Sunday.
Locher has logged more than 230 innings as a pitcher for the Stars during her college career, for a 23-15 overall record.
The Stars softball team is 4-2 this season while competing in the Gene Cusic Classic in Florida to open the season.
The Stars return to the Midwest for regular-season action against Saint Mary's College March 24 in Notre Dame, Indiana.
