The Proviso Township High Schools District 209 board will vote on a two-year extension for the district's cosmetology and barber programs at its next meeting 7:30 p.m. today in Proviso East High School's Social Room, 807 S. First Ave., in Maywood.
The board will also discuss proposed changes to health benefits for district employees, alternative learning opportunities and the details of a planning retreat for the board.
The board also will be updated on the district's construction and carpentry programs.
