The Maywood Board of Trustees approved a collective bargaining agreement with Teamsters Local Union No. 705 during its regular meeting recently.
The agreement runs through the end of 2017 and includes annual 2 percent raises, Commercial Drivers License requirements for foremen, a decrease in foremen, extended sick leave and a modified winter-clothing allowance.
The board delayed a vote on an ordinance amendment that would adjust the village's license limits on the number and location of Class M (video gambling café/bistro) establishments so village staff could gather more information.
