The Cook County Health and Hospitals System's (CCHHS) finance committee will get an update on the CountyCare program at its next meeting at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Stroger Hospital's second-floor conference room, 1900 W. Polk St.
CountyCare is a no-cost health plan managed by the state to provide health care to Cook County residents.
The committee also will discuss contracts, procurement items, end-of-year financial statements and a report on emergency purchases.
